The Madison and Union County Farm Bureaus along with Plain City Parks & Recreation recently held Ice Cream with a Farmer. The first 300 attendees got a coupon for free ice cream from Miller’s Homemade Ice Cream. Local farmers brought their tractors and farm machinery. The kids had several stations to visit. They were able to pot a flower, make a bird feeder pine cone, learn about dairy and make butter, along with participating in farm trivia to win some Farm Bureau prizes. 4-H clubs volunteered to help with the stations and brought some of their animals for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to Pete from Agra-tastic for providing the sound system and being our announcer for the afternoon. We appreciate all who came out for the event, and look forward to seeing you all next year!
