Ohio Farm Bureau is recruiting social media ambassadors to provide an inside look at the 2024 Young Ag Professionals Winter Leadership Experience occurring Jan. 26-27, 2024 in Columbus. This opportunity gives college students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering the conference, while also engaging with their own unique audiences on social media.
Duties include:
Compensation: Ambassadors will be provided complimentary conference registration, a $400 stipend, and two branded OFBF shirts for the event.
Time Commitment: Ambassador responsibilities begin Sept. 18, 2023, and will conclude Feb. 1, 2024. This time frame includes promotional posts throughout the conference registration period, real-time content creation at the conference, and a post-conference debrief meeting.
Sept. 10, 12 a.m. – Application deadline ends at midnight
Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m. to – 1 p.m. – Virtual Orientation Meeting
October – December – Promotional Posts (on your own)
Jan. 16, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Conference Planning Session
Jan. 26, 12 p.m. – Conference Walkthrough
Jan. 26-27, 2024 Winter Leadership Experience
Jan. 31, Post-Conference Meeting
Interested candidates should create a portfolio including a brief cover letter highlighting their interest in the program and experience with social media – including examples of work, a resume with relevant experience, and linked social media handles intended to promote conference content (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).

Notification: Candidates will be notified of their status no later than Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023.
