We will be taking one Monday a month for you to get to know the voices fighting for you on the Carroll County Farm Bureau board of trustees. This month is Kady Hartong.
Kady and her husband, Lane, reside in Washington Township.
Years of membership: I’ve been an Ohio Farm Bureau member for 7 years, and on the Carroll Co. board for one.
Why Farm Bureau?
“Ohio Farm Bureau is a wonderful organization that I’ve been grateful to be part of from a young age. From scholarships to local benefits to policy, Farm Bureau offers something for everyone. Ohio Farm Bureau works on your behalf everyday as a landowner, consumer, producer, and/or farmer.”

“I grew up on a cow-calf operation and exhibited livestock in 4-H and FFA, so I have always had a strong passion for agriculture. I currently work as an insurance agent with the Kim Davis Insurance Agency in Malvern and help on our family farm.”
