Local Farm Bureaus host CAUV Informational Session

Brown County Farm Bureau is offering up to four $500 scholarships to 2024 Brown County, Ohio high school graduates. Additionally, a $500 scholarship will also be awarded to a student currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or technical school with a major in agriculture. Scholarship selection will be based on agricultural interests, scholastic achievement, financial need and Farm Bureau participation.
If the parents are not Brown County Farm Bureau members, the student must be planning to major in agriculture at a college or university and be a resident of Brown County, Ohio. This restrictive major is waived if the parents are Brown County Farm Bureau members. Post secondary technical training in agriculture also will be considered.
Applications are available online and can be obtained through local high schools’ guidance counselors offices. To obtain a scholarship, applicants must send a completed application, a copy of their high school transcript and a wallet-size photo to the Brown County Farm Bureau, PO Box 288, Georgetown, OH 45121. All applications must be received by 4 p.m. on March 31, 2024.
