For property owners with aging post-frame buildings, the new year is an ideal time to rethink the future of your pole barn.

To be eligible for the $500 grant, an applicant must be a Darke County resident and Farm Bureau member, 18 to 25 years of age.

The meeting takes place June 5 at Sure Shot Tap House beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The Golden Owl Award recognizes outstanding agriculture educators who make an impact in their local communities.

$500 grants are available to applicants pursuing a Commercial Driver’s License, with intent for agricultural use.
