Monday, February 7 Turned cows out on Mill Rd. to go to the creek to drink. This sure helps not having to drag the hoses out and hook up. Wet snow this morning. Working on boxing a shipment of parts to Canada. Nicholas and Austin delivered 30 bales of hay to the horse farm on Woodsdale. Then Austin and I went to rental farm and fed round bales. Too muddy to pull silage wagon out, so we'll wait for...

This week we had 1,000 pounds of feed mixed for them. This wi...
Monday, February 7 Today was a pretty typical day of school. A highlight in my freshmen classes was that Di Schroeder spoke to them about how to handle rabbits and how to identify signs of good or poor health in rabbits. Di visited each class and explained in detail how to hold, carry, and flip each rabbit. As part of their grade for the rabbit project, students will be expected to perform thes...
Monday, January 31, 2010 The last day of the month and this will be the end for my diary. I made another trip today to Greenville, OH to deliver corn to the ethanol plant. The weather sounds bad for the rest of the week. The worldwide grain shortage has pushed the price a little higher this past week. This has been a great help to farmers to cover their expenses for the upcoming year. Everything w...

We have a lot to accomplish at school this week, so I am hopeful that the forec...

At about 5:30 we received the first call for school being on a 2 hr. delay, and then about 7 a.m. we got the second call tellin...
