Chagrin River Watershed Partners, Inc. (CRWP), the City of Akron, and the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) would like to invite you to provide input for the Sawyer Brook and East Branch Reservoir – Upper Cuyahoga River Watershed Plans. They are seeking input on land protection, restoration, and stormwater management solutions to help find future projects to improve water quality and enhance wildlife habitat.

The Sawyer Brook watershed includes portions of the following communities and park districts in Geauga County: Burton Township, Geauga Park District, Middlefield Township, Parkman Township and Troy Township. The East Branch Reservoir watershed includes portions of the following communities and park districts in Geauga County: Claridon Township, Geauga Park District, Hambden Township, Huntsburg Township, and Montville Township. They will be hosting a virtual information session to provide an overview of the watershed plans, what input is requested, and how to provide that input on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. The information session will also be recorded and shared for those unable to attend. Completed surveys can be emailed to [email protected]. Please name your completed survey file “SawyerBrook_LastName” or “EastBranch_LastName” and include “Upper Cuyahoga Watershed Survey” in the subject line of your email.

The deadline to submit surveys is Jan. 14, 2022.
