Noble County Farm Bureau welcomes new board members

This is an annual agriculture-related educational field trip for third grade students in Noble County and Guernsey County elementary schools. Over 325 students were escorted through a series of agricultural and environmental-related stations.
Noble County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees members Clair Schockling and Chris Wells presented a station on corn. They explained many types and uses of corn in our diets and our lives, along with a sample of tasty Ohio popcorn for each student.
Another station provided by Farm Bureau was the Ag Literacy Kit. “Right This Very Minute” by Lisl H. Detlefsen is a table to farm book about food and farming. Each child received a American Farm Bureau Ag Mag on snacks.
