Tate is a 2024 graduate of Ironton High School where he has volunteered for the Lawrence County Dog Shelter, completed different clean-up projects with the Lawrence County Environmental Protection Agency, and taken part in the Lawrence County Commissioner’s Civic Scholars Program. Tate is planning to attend Marshall University this fall where he will be majoring in pharmaceutical sciences. Best wishes to Tate in all of his future endeavors and Go Herd!
Lawrence County Farm Bureau awards scholarships annually to students pursuing further education. Scholarship applications open in January each year.
