Thank you to everyone who stopped out at the Morrow County Dairy Tour Saturday, June 22! Community members from Morrow and surrounding counties visited Spring Valley Farm to learn about their dairy operation and the industry. Visitors got to see a dairy farm in action and learned about animal care, nutrition, farm operations, and where dairy products come from. Visitors also got to see many aspects of the farm including the calves, feed mixing, cow barn, milking parlor, and even manure management.
At the end of the tour, visitors enjoyed grilled cheese, ice cream and cookies: all foods that include dairy products. Thank you to Spring Valley Farm and the Creswell’s for hosting this year’s tour!

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.
Farm Bureau is what really got the word out. It’s been one of their goals to get this done.

Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.
