Read MoreRichland County Farm Bureau is partnering with Richland County Solid Waste Authority to host the Tire Amnesty Event Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Richland County Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or whenever the tire collection capacity is met.
This is a free disposal of up to 10 tires per vehicle. You must have proof of Richland County residency to participate. The tires must be free of water/fluids and may not be on rims. They are accepting tires of all sizes, including tractor tires. Please use the Lantz Road entrance when entering the fair. The line usually diminishes around 10 a.m., so there is no need to get in line before 8 a.m.
