Richland County Farm Bureau encourages everyone to visit the Richland County Fair Aug. 3-9. Farm Bureau is a proud supporter of the Richland County youth and fair. The Farm Bureau display will be in the antique building; stop in and visit us!

Richland County Farm Bureau will host the annual Barnyard Olympics Thursday, Aug. 7, at 1:30 p.m. in the show arena. Registration begins at 1 p.m. Join Farm Bureau for a farm-themed obstacle course, where teams test their agility, and finish with an egg toss. Participants will receive a $3 voucher to use at the 4-H Dairy Bar or the Plymouth FFA Pop Tent.

Additionally, to support the youth, Richland County Farm Bureau provides awards for the Outstanding Market Livestock Exhibitors in each species, sponsors the Showman of Showmen trophy, and provides T-shirts for every junior fair exhibitor. Sponsors of the T-shirts are Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., Broerman Insurance Agency, Centerra Co-op, Cole’s Distributing Inc., Cooke Transport, Crawford Drainage Co., Farm Credit Mid-America, Grauer Farms, Heartland Bank, KM’s Feed Store, Lund & Smith Insurance Services, Mechanics Bank, Pioneer Seed – Todd Schroeder, Sunrise Cooperative, Trent Insurance Group and Walnut Hill Feeds.
