Ohio Farm Bureau honors members with Advocacy in Action Awards
The winners of the 2024 Ohio Farm Bureau Advocacy in Action Award are Roger Baker of Wayne County and Neall Weber (posthumously) of Franklin County.

He also was re-elected and will remain District 7 trustee, representing the interests of members from Crawford, Marion, Morrow and Richland counties. His election took place during Ohio Farm Bureau’s 106th annual meeting, Dec. 12-13 in Columbus.
Prettyman farms with his family, raising corn and soybeans and has a direct-to-consumer beef enterprise. In addition, he has an over 30-year agricultural career serving members in Ohio’s cooperative system. A 27-year member of Marion County Farm Bureau, Prettyman has served as its president and has been active with local and state Pork Producers Councils and Ohio Cattlemen’s Association.
He has a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from Ohio State University and has served on the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board since 2016.
