Gallia County Farm Bureau hosts 22nd Annual Gallia County Ag Day

Gallia County Farm Bureau hosted the 22nd Annual Gallia County Ag Day at the Gallia County Fairgrounds on May 7, 2025.

Each year we host the Gallia County 4th grade students at the fairgrounds to teach them all about different types of agriculture. There were 313 students that rotated through 15 different stations throughout the day. Along with learning about agriculture, they also participated in a T-shirt drawing contest. The students were asked to draw what agriculture means to them. This year’s T-shirt contest winner was Maklyn V. from Addaville Elementary! Each student was able to take home a free T-shirt with the winning design and sponsors on it along with a brochure about what Farm Bureau is, the events they were able to participate in for the day, along with all of the various sponsors.

We could not host this wonderful event each year if it was not for the Gallia County Fairboard allowing us to use the grounds, our wonderful sponsors who believe in what we are doing, and our fantastic presenters that make the day a success!
