Volunteer for Delaware County Farm Bureau in the Farm Fun Tent!
Each year, Farm Bureau puts together a Farm Fun Tent for the Delaware County Fair, and we are looking for volunteers to be a part of this community outreach by bringing enthusiasm and knowledge of agriculture to the families that come through the tent. Agriculture knowledge is great but not required!
There will be shifts starting with set up on Friday, Sept. 12 through Thursday, Sept. 18. The tent is sponsored by the Delaware County Farm Bureau and the Delaware County Fair and is located just inside the Euclid Avenue gate near the dairy cattle barn.
Farm Bureau will provide:
- Pass to enter the fairgrounds.
- Food voucher.
- Farm Bureau shirt.
Volunteer for a short educational demonstration!
We are also looking for volunteers to provide the Fun Tent with a short educational demonstration for all fairgoers to enjoy. In the past, we have had ice cream in a bag, needle felting, and more. If you are interested, please reach out to the Delaware County Farm Bureau, [email protected].

To grow a network and gain perspective and knowledge in the industry through personal and professional development has been invaluable. Every day I learn and grow.
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.
Farm Bureau is what really got the word out. It’s been one of their goals to get this done.
I could not have done it without the resources I have found through Farm Bureau.
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.
