The Richland County Farm Bureau 2024 Annual Meeting minutes and 2024-2025 fiscal year financials were presented and approved. Trustee and delegate elections were held and policies and a county code change were voted on and approved. Richland County Farm Bureau volunteers were recognized and programs and accomplishments from the last year were reviewed and celebrated. Organization Director Abra Dunn and OFBF District 7 State Trustee Cy Prettyman provided remarks.
The county Farm Bureau Board of Trustees is the heart and strength of the organization.
Locally there are 12 trustee seats on the board. All trustees must live, work, or have an active agricultural interest in the county. Your 2025-2026 Farm Bureau Trustees are Dale Hulit, President; Tim Johnson, Vice-President; Brian Alt; Bob Cohen; Dave Duncan; Drew Eckert; Linda Fackler; Jerry Hayes; Loren Hulit; and Gary Ulmer. The 2026 OFBF Annual Meeting delegates elected to serve with the president and vice-president are Bob Cohen and Gary Ulmer.
Richland County Farm Bureau looks for ways to impact and improve the community. There are two open seats on the Richland County Farm Bureau board. Trustees are asked to attend board meetings, serve on committees with other volunteers, and help direct the work of the county Farm Bureau.
