Belmont County Farm Bureau partners to help local food pantries
A total of 800 pounds of pork were donated to nine area food banks.
Read MoreThe Belmont County Farm Bureau held another successful backpack program event this past weekend on Nov. 20 and 21. We had about 18,000 meals that needed to be packed within the two days. Within those two days, we had about 300 volunteers that came to help package meals. We had several different clubs, politicians, our Ohio FFA State Sentinel Faith Galavich, several sports teams, and many other organizations assist with the effort. We would not have had the success we did without all our volunteers. We can’t thank everyone enough for all the help and generosity.
