Madison County Farm Bureau members are invited to attend a special utility scale solar energy issues briefing, sponsored by the Madison County Farm Bureau. The briefing will be held at Beck’s Hybrids on Wednesday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. | 720 US-40, London, OH 43140.
During the briefing, Dale Arnold, who is director of Energy, Utility and Local Government Policy with Ohio Farm Bureau, will discuss energy market trends, construction guidelines and remediation standards, as well as regulatory agencies governing this type of energy development. Issues concerning eminent domain and farmland preservation will be explored, as well as what landowners should consider in negotiating effective long-term lease agreements.
