Cows make Christmas extra cheerful
It might seem like a real chore to have to take care of the animals before any Christmas gifts or meals can happen, but to me it is such a special time.
Read MoreJune 11, 2022 was a beautiful day in Warren as we celebrated National Dairy Month and our Trumbull County Dairy Farmers and farm families!
There were cow balloons and goodie bags for the kids and prizes for anyone who wanted to take their turn at answering an agriculture-related question. A gift basket with a “dairy-theme” was also given away. Our lucky winner was Meghan Turon! Anyone could join or renew their Farm Bureau membership at Farm Bureau Day for a FREE Farm Bureau coffee mug or mason jar mug.
Cockeye Creamery partnered with Trumbull County Farm Bureau and 10% of the proceeds during the celebration went to the Trumbull County Farm Bureau Scholarship program. This program was started in the mid 80s as a member benefit to help provide college scholarships to our members with college-bound dependents.
The application is available yearly in the early spring with the deadline being on or around April 1. It is an online application available available on our website and Facebook page.
This year’s donation was $246.81! “Thank you Cockeye Creamery” for your continued support – we appreciate it!
