Every year, Greene County Farm Bureau honors a member who has gone above and beyond to serve the county Farm Bureau as well as the agricultural community. We recognize these individuals at the county annual meeting, and they are recognized in a slide show at the Ohio Farm Bureau annual meeting. This year’s winner is Doug Wickline.
Wickline is a graduate of Xenia High School and The Ohio State University where he majored in ag economics. After graduation, he worked in sales for Studebaker Nursery and returned to to the family garden center, floral shop and landscape operation. 25 years later he became an agriscience instructor and FFA advisor at the Greene County Career Center and Greeneview High School. Doug and his wife, Julie, have three kids: Lauren, Brant and Wesley. They recently became grandparents.
“I really enjoy working with Farm Bureau from the passionate staff, trustees and members who value the importance of agriculture,” he said.
