Read MoreThe 2022 Huron County annual meeting was held at the Village Barn in Monroeville with 70 members in attendance. The annual meeting was a chance to reflect on our 2022 accomplishments, recognize our special award recipients, celebrate our members and volunteers and set the course for Huron County Farm Bureau for 2023.
Members were asked to review the candidates’ information for the board of trustees and OFBF annual meeting delegates for 2023. They also reviewed the slate of policies for the county, state and national levels. Kraig Schafer, Jamey Kamann, Haley Evans, Kyle Cramer and Jeremy Sherman were re-elected to the county board of trustees and all policies passed.
Bonnie Malone was chosen by the trustees as our 2022 Member of Distinction! Bonnie has been a 4-H Youth Educator for more than 30 years and was a vo-ag teacher for seven years. We appreciate her service and the many young lives she has encouraged to be a part of agriculture!
The annual meeting was a perfect example of our members working together for Ohio farmers as we continue to advance agriculture and strengthen our communities.
Applications for both programs are due March 31, 2026.
