Madison County: What we do
These efforts are made achievable through the dedication of our members and volunteers.
Read MoreA native to Hancock County, Elisha Fisher resides in Madison County. Growing up she was involved with 4-H, FFA, and Jr. Fairboard. She attended OSU-ATI and graduated with an associate’s degree in beef & sheep production. Fisher interned in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on a 3,000 head Scottish Highland ranch. Her duties involved marketing meat and promoting the ranch at local bull shows and sales. Elisha is a mother to Kenley and Brookston. She and her family reside on her husband, Derek’s family farm where four generations of farming have blended. Wheat, soybeans, corn and cover crops are grown on the farm. They also raise grass fed beef, Katahdin sheep, pastured poultry, a Guernsey heifer Butterscotch and focus on regenerative agriculture practices. She and her daughter Kenley started a fresh flower business, Bloom K. Elisha enjoys canning, cooking, gardening and spending time with family traveling. She is very excited for her new role as the marketing & media associate with Farm Bureau!
