Crawford 2023 Farmers Share BreakfastCrawford County Farm Bureau celebrated agriculture, local farmers and its rural community Feb. 18, with the return of its Farmers Share Breakfast at Hannah Crawford Elementary.

More than 325 people enjoyed breakfast and table-top discussion. This event provided an opportunity for the community to come together and talk to local farmers and learn how farmers care about their community. There was a lot of community engagement and discussion, which made for a great morning.

Agriculture provides almost everything we eat, use and wear on a daily basis, but many people don’t think about that. Crawford County Farm Bureau hopes every American will:

  • Recognize the contribution of agriculture in our everyday lives.
  • Understand how food and fiber products are produced.
  • Appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products.
  • Value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy.
  • Acknowledge and consider career opportunities in the agriculture, food and fiber industry.
