Highland County Scholarships

Highland County Farm Bureau is pleased to award two $500 scholarships and one $1,000 scholarship to graduating seniors. The recipients for 2023 are:

  • Samuel Hamilton, a 2023 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, is the son of Rob and Lara Hamilton of Hillsboro. He will receive a $1000 scholarship. Samuel plans to attend Wilmington College to pursue a degree in animal science/pre-veterinary.
  • Sydney Hamilton, a 2023 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, is the son of Rob and Lara Hamilton of Hillsboro. She will receive a $500 scholarship. Sydney plans to attend The Ohio State University to pursue a degree in animal nutrition and community leadership.
  • Matthew Gossett, a 2023 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, is the son of Ronnie and Lori Gossett of Sardinia.  Matthew plans to attend Southern State Community College to pursue a degree in business management. He will receive a $500 scholarship.

We wish these wonderful seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors and are grateful to have the opportunity to lessen the financial burden of furthering their education.
