Belmont County Farm Bureau recently hosted the summer reading program at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library Annex building.
President Alex Davidson read the AFBF award winning book “I Love Strawberries” to approximately 30 children in attendance. After reading the story, each child planted their very own strawberry plant to take home.
The strawberry plants were grown locally and donated by Burkhart Nursery, Barnesville. Several county board of trustees were in attendance to help the children with their planting skills.
