Richland County Farm Bureau to collect policy input from members, community

Farm Bureau members will volunteer in the Fairhaven Cafeteria at the fair on Tuesday from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and invite you to join for a fun morning.
Richland County Farm Bureau will host the annual Barnyard Olympics on Thursday, Aug. 10, at 1:30 p.m. in the show arena. Registration begins at 1 p.m. or immediately following the sheep show. Join Farm Bureau for a fun obstacle course where teams test their aim and agility, and an egg toss. Participants will receive a $3 voucher to use at the 4-H Dairy Bar, Plymouth FFA pop up tent or Crestview FFA food trailer.
Additionally, to support the youth, Richland County Farm Bureau provides awards for the Outstanding Market Livestock Exhibitors in each species, sponsors the Showman of Showmen trophy, and provides T-shirts for every junior fair exhibitor. Sponsors of the T-shirts are Broerman Insurance Agency, Centerra Co-op, Cole’s Distributing Inc., Cooke Transport, Crawford Drainage Co., Farm Credit – Mid America, Grauer Farms, KM’s Feed Store, Mechanics Bank, Mid-Wood Inc., Pioneer Seed, Sunrise Cooperative, Trent Insurance Group and Walnut Hill Feeds.
