Preble YAP event

Local Young Ag Professionals groups and Collegiate Farm Bureau members can apply for grants to fund their local programming efforts. The grants are a part of Farm Credit Mid-America’s $100,000 donation to Farm Bureau young leader programs in its four-state region of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. A total of 10, $500 grants will be awarded in 2024.

2024 Local YAP Grants details
  • One program per county may be submitted for consideration.
  • Applicant must be the county organization director, county Farm Bureau president, or local YAP leader.
  • Individual counties may apply, or multiple counties may apply as one program.
  • Eligible programs must occur within the 2024 calendar year.
  • Previous grant recipients may apply again; priority may be given to new programs.
  • Grant programs should fall into one of the following categories: membership, philanthropic, educational, advocacy/policy, and/or social.

The 10 recipients will be announced during the YAP Winter Leadership Experience Jan. 26-27, 2024 in Columbus. Those selected will receive additional information after the conference.
