BetterHelp

Farm Bureau realizes that it’s been a rough couple of years between overreaching regulations, severe weather during planting/harvesting season, and unsteady markets. We also recognize that the most important asset of your operation, business and home is you. It’s critical to take care of yourself in order to continue growing all of those things, and Farm Bureau wants to be here to help. This is why we are so excited to announce your Farm Bureau has been partnering with BetterHelp – the world’s largest therapy provider – in extending an additional layer of support to our members and their loved ones by providing access to professional counseling anytime and anywhere.

Please visit the BetterHelp website: You will need to enter the email associated with your membership to verify eligibility.

Therapy benefits available to Farm Bureau members

From the comfort of your home to the busy days in the tractor seat, we are providing this opportunity to improve the lives of our members. Through this benefit, members will be able to receive one free month of counseling to use in 2024.Through the first month, you will be able to get unlimited access to messaging with your counselor and four video/phone sessions that you can literally do from the front seat of your tractor. Everything is kept professional, confidential, and convenient.

In order to access this benefit, we will need to have an email attached to your Farm Bureau membership account. For confidentiality purposes, just tell us that you want to update your Farm Bureau account information.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
