2024 FUSION Conference

The American Farm Bureau Federation FUSION Conference is held every other year, jointly hosted by the AFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee, Promotion &  Education Committee, and Women’s Leadership Committee. Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals program is part of the AFBF YF&R program.

The 2025 conference takes place March 7-10, in Denver. Join over 1,000 members from across the country to exchange ideas, seize growth opportunities, sharpen leadership skills, and network. You will leave the conference inspired with new energy and ideas for your engagement in agriculture and Farm Bureau!

Ohio Farm Bureau is offering five scholarships to the leadership conference in 2025. Those five select winners will receive free conference registration and complimentary transportation to and from the conference.

Eligibility:
  • Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years of age.
  • Must be a current Ohio Farm Bureau member and active in a county Farm Bureau.
  • The application is intended for individuals. A couple may apply however both spouses may not be selected. Each individual person must complete the application.
  • Current and past YAP State Committee and YF&R Committee members are ineligible to apply.
  • Current employees of Ohio Farm Bureau and any County Farm Bureau office are ineligible to apply.  
  • Former YF&R Conference or Special 10 scholarship recipients are ineligible to apply.

The five recipients will be announced during the YAP Winter Leadership Experience at Kalahari in Sandusky Feb. 7-8, 2025.  All attendees will be notified of their application status following the formal announcement at WLE. Attendance at WLE is NOT required to receive this scholarship.

What’s included?

Ohio Farm Bureau will cover conference registration and transportation to and from the conference. Applicants are expected to cover meals and tour costs (tours are optional). This scholarship is valued over $1,500 per participant. All scholarship recipients are expected to attend the entirety of the AFBF FUSION Conference and participate in all general programming of the conference. Note: A recipient may be asked to pay back the value of their scholarship if they intentionally skip general programming during the conference.
