Ohio Farm Bureau Scholarships

Union County Farm Bureau is offering thousands of dollars in scholarships to Union County Farm Bureau members and their children in 2026. Scholarships are available to students pursuing any form of education after high school. This includes:

  • High school seniors entering college, trade school, or other post-secondary programs
  • Current undergraduate students
  • Graduate students, including those in master’s, Ph.D., professional, or veterinary programs
  • Students enrolled in accredited trade or technical school programs

Preference will be awarded to students pursuing an agriculture major or profession. 

QUALIFICATIONS – Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
  • Must be a Union County resident or a student in Union County schools.
  • Applicant or their parent/guardian must be a Union County Farm Bureau member in good standing.
  • Past recipients of the Union County Farm Bureau Scholarship are not eligible to reapply.
DEADLINE TO APPLY – The deadline for the application is April 2, 2026. Complete the Google form or send the completed application to the scholarship committee.

AWARD INFORMATION – A scholarship selection committee, appointed by the Union County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees, will review all applications and select recipients based on established criteria, including academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and essay responses. The committee will present its award recommendations to the board of trustees for approval.
 
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS – Recipients will be notified by the Union County Farm Bureau office. Winners will be required to provide a photograph for Farm Bureau publications and social media. 
 
All application materials and information received will be the property of Union County Farm Bureau and will be held in strict confidence.
