Read MoreGallia County Farm Bureau hosted the 23rd Annual Gallia County Ag Day at the Gallia County Fairgrounds May 6, 2026.
Each year we host Gallia County 4th grade students at the fairgrounds to teach them all about different types of agriculture. There were 328 students who rotated through 15 different stations throughout the day. Along with learning about agriculture, they also participated in a T-shirt design contest. The students were asked to draw what agriculture means to them. This year’s T-shirt contest winner was Molly W. from Washington Elementary! Each student was able to take home a free T-shirt with the winning design and sponsors on it along with a brochure about what Farm Bureau is, the events they were able to participate in for the day, and all of the various sponsors.
We could not host this wonderful event each year if it was not for the Gallia County Fair Board for allowing us to use the grounds, our wonderful sponsors who believe in what we are doing, and our fantastic presenters that make the day a success!
