Farm Bureau applauds Congress for full passage of Continuing Resolution
The bill includes short-term spending, disaster aid and a farm bill extension.

Austin has been a member of the board since 2012 and currently serves as the vice president of the board of trustees and co-chair of the Public Policy Action Team. Austin is a science teacher at Indian Creek Middle School and runs an after school STEM program for girls called Tech Gyrls. The only son of Bill and Marsha Cable, owners of Austin Lake Park, Austin helps manage the wood lot at Austin Lake where they use conservation practices for soil and water. In addition to his work and service to the county Farm Bureau, Austin is also a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 20 in Richmond. Austin’s wife of 12 years, Dawn, is a teacher at Edison Local. They have two children, Gage and Leila.
