Gallia County Farm Bureau and the Gallia County Soil and Water Conservation District have partnered to take part in the 2018 Water Quality Grant opportunity through the Ohio Farm Bureau. With this grant they will purchase a new 7 foot no-till drill to use in the county and other surrounding counties, to help with soil conservation practices.

This drill can be leased by the public and Farm Bureau members may lease the drill at a discounted rate. Please contact the Gallia County SWCD for more information: (740) 446-6173 and ask for Nick Mills.

As a member of Farm Bureau, I am glad that this organization takes action when necessary to protect and advance agriculture.

If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington, D.C.
