Ohio Farm Bureau

Ohio Farm Bureau will host USDA Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett and other key partners for a roundtable discussion on the impacts of the opioid epidemic on rural communities. Topics will include challenges associated with substance use disorder; strategies for prevention, treatment and recovery; and how these measures can be replicated to effectively address the epidemic in other rural communities.

What: Opioid epidemic roundtable discussion.

When:  Friday, Aug. 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Reporters are welcome to observe the discussion from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Participants will be available for interviews from 11:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
