Read MoreButler County Farm Bureau is committed to keeping our farming community safe in the county. The fall safety campaign “Slow Down and Be Careful” has kicked off thanks to the ladies with the Promotion & Education Committee. The committee bakes cookies each year and delivers to the county mills for the farmers to take a break for a few minutes. The cookies are delivered with information on SMV (Slow Moving Vehicle) and SIS (Speed Identification Symbol) signs to remind farmers to keep their equipment safe.
More information on SMV and SIS signs is available through OSU Extension.
Have a safe harvest!
