Jeff Schilling of Galloway was re-elected by the Franklin County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees to serve as the county president for the 2018 – 2019 year. Schilling will lead the county board in community outreach efforts, education, and grassroots policy impacting the agricultural industry.
Schilling is a grain and hay farmer in the western part of the county. He has been very active in Farm Bureau at the local, state, and national levels. He has served on numerous policy and membership committees throughout his tenure. During his presidency, Schilling will be attending lobbying trips in Washington, D.C. and Columbus where he will meet with elected officials to share the voice of Franklin County’s farming community.
With over 15,000 members, Franklin County Farm Bureau is a grassroots, advocacy organization that works to support our state’s food and farm community. The agriculture industry is Ohio’s largest economic sector and responsible for 1 out of every 8 jobs in the state.
