Read MoreCOVID-19 is a new frontier for all of us as we deal with the realities of a pandemic and the impact it is having on our lives, on our families, our communities and on our work. It’s arrival in Ohio has created an unprecedented disruption on grocery store shelves, but rest assured there are currently no nationwide shortages of food, despite localized reports of shortage, and we have our farmers and growers to thank for that.
Supporting our local farmers, growers and businesses in this difficult period is as vital as ever. As American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall said, “Empty shelves can be frightening, but empty fields and barns would be devastating.”
In an effort to support our community, we have partnered with Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Healthy Communities Partnership, Mahoning Valley Farmers Market Network and the Lake to River Food Cooperative to create a place for farmers, growers and businesses to advertise and share their goods and services, which also provides a resource for consumers to find items they need right in their community.

You can also download the 2019 Northeast Counties Farm Bureau Buying Local Directory for additional goods and services in Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake and Trumbull counties.
