Read MoreThe Franklin County Farm Bureau summer fellow this year is Chris Young, a senior at The Ohio State University studying agricultural communication and leadership studies. Chris grew up right outside of London, Ohio in Madison County where he has been a member of the county Farm Bureau for the past five years. He is also a member of Ohio State’s Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter.
Chris got his start in the agriculture industry when he and his dad decided to start raising goats for the county fair. That idea eventually grew into breeding, raising, and selling goats to other 4-H and FFA members across the state. Chris has been very active with Ohio Farm Bureau’s Young Ag Professionals by attending previous Young Farmers and Ranchers conferences, YAP lobby trips, and the state discussion meet.
Chris is excited to be working with Franklin County Farm Bureau members and hear their Farm Bureau stories!
