Jenna Calfo attends Ashland University with a major in education and received the $1,000 Al DiVencenzo Memorial Scholarship. Jenna is majoring in education at Ashland University. She is the daughter of Amy & Peter Calfo. 

Joel Polen plans to attends Wilmington College, majoring in Agricultural Business with a minor in Animal Science and was awarded the Ag Related $1,000 Scholarship. Joel is a 2023 graduate of Firelands High School. He is the son of Rich & Kim Polen. 

Natalie Calfo attends the University of Akron majoring in biomedical science and received the $1,000 Continuing Education Scholarship. She is the daughter of Amy & Peter Calfo. 

Ronald Hamm plans to attend Ashland University majoring in political science/business and was awarded the $1,000 General Scholarship for high school seniors. Ronald is a 2023 graduate of  Midview High School. Ronald is the son of James & Marilyn Hamm. 

Congratulations to all of our Lorain County Scholarship recipients! We cannot wait to see what your future holds!

Labor has always been an issue, mainly because we are a seasonal operation. So that's a challenge finding somebody who only wants to work three months out of a year, sometimes up to six months.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
