Reagan Saunders has been named the recipient of the 2023 Cecil Huston Farm Bureau Scholarship sponsored by Greene County Farm Bureau. Reagan will receive her scholarship at the 2023 Greene County Annual Meeting.
Reagan is the daughter of Craig Saunders and Betsy Lairson and is a 2023 Greeneview High School graduate. She will be attending The Ohio State University where she will be majoring in animal sciences on a pre-veterinary medicine track. Throughout high school, she was involved in various clubs including Green Club, FFA, 4-H, Student Council, Greene County Junior Fairboard, Teen Leadership Council, and volleyball. Saunders spent her summers raising pigs and goats to exhibit at the county, state, and national levels.
“To me agriculture is more than just a part of life. It is a passion, a lifestyle, and a strong community of compassionate and hard-working people. I am so thankful that I can be a part of such an amazing industry,” she said.
