Ohio Farm Bureau honors members with Advocacy in Action Awards
The winners of the 2024 Ohio Farm Bureau Advocacy in Action Award are Roger Baker of Wayne County and Neall Weber (posthumously) of Franklin County.
Read MoreWe started the fair off by presenting T-shirts to all of the youth who participated in the livestock promotion poster contest, followed by the Creative Baking Auction where we supported the youth selling their goodies! Franklin County also participated in the round bale decorating contest, where we won the blue ribbon and People’s Choice award. We also had Farm Bureau Ag Day! We had many activities going on throughout the day including hands-on activities, demos, and a farmers market! We ended the day with County Olympics & Ice Cream Social! Thanks to everyone who partnered with us for Farm Bureau Ag Day! We also sponsored the Hog Jackpot Show and fairgoers grabbed a Farm Bureau fan to stay cool while at the fair! Franklin County Farm Bureau supported the youth by purchasing many projects in the livestock sale! It takes a community to come together and support all the kids, and that’s exactly what our members do!
