2025 Winter Leadership Experience logo

Farm Bureau members are invited to attend the annual Winter Leadership Experience “Embracing Your Season” on Feb. 7 and 8 at Kalahari in Sandusky. Richland County Farm Bureau will reimburse full registration up to $150 for the first three attendees who contact the county office prior to the event. You can register online and notify us at the office at [email protected] or 419-747-7488 that you will be attending. Once you attend, you will receive your reimbursement.

Registration is $150 per person; register online through Jan. 7. You will need payment and full contact information at registration. You are responsible for securing your hotel accommodations. The registration page has a link for rooms at a significant savings through Jan. 7, while supplies last.

Our seasons in life are not bound by age alone, so this year we are opening the doors of this annual event to all members – giving everyone a chance to connect, learn, and grow together at the Winter Leadership Experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to invite key decision-makers from your farm or business to learn alongside you. The conference features plenty of fun, great food, breakout sessions, workshops, tours and keynote speakers as well as the Future YAP Club for children K-6 grade. To learn more about the conference, click here.

Follow Richland County Farm Bureau on Facebook and subscribe to the Ohio Farm Bureau YAP e-newsletter, Growing Our Generation, for the latest activities and announcements.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
