An applicant must be a member, or child or dependent of a member, of the Richland County (Ohio) Farm Bureau and a graduating high school senior or enrolled as a full-time student in a two-year or four-year college, trade school or technical program. Preference is given to those students who enroll in an agricultural-related major.
Applications are only being accepted through the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation website. Students will need to upload their most recent transcripts and a letter of reference at the end of the application, so please be sure to have those documents before starting the application.
Applications are due by March 31. Click here to apply.
A Richland County Farm Bureau scholarship selection committee will select the recipients. Scholarship monies will be paid directly to the recipients to be used for school, books, and living expenses following the next semester or equivalent. Transcripts must show that the applicant/recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA in their semester or equivalent term.
Recipients will receive the funds after submitting their respective transcripts detailing their grades for the first semester, or equivalent, of the academic year AND proof that the student is enrolled as a full-time student for the next grading period.
Recipients will be given three tickets to attend the Richland County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting where the scholarship winner(s) will be recognized.
