Meigs Ag Day

Athens-Meigs County Farm Bureau hosted the 6th Annual Meigs County Ag Day at the Meigs County Fairgrounds on May 9, 2025.

Each year we host the Meigs County fourth grade students at the fairgrounds to teach them all about different types of agriculture. There were 215 students that rotated through 12 different stations throughout the day. Each student was able to take home a free drawstring bag with all of the bag sponsors on it along with a brochure about what Farm Bureau is, the stations they were able to participate in for the day, and a list of all of our event sponsors!

We could not host this wonderful event each year if it was not for the Meigs County Fairboard allowing us to use the grounds, our wonderful sponsors who believe in what we are doing and our fantastic presenters that make the day a success!
