Farm Bureau scholarships

Franklin County Farm Bureau is an organization that works to support Ohio’s food and farm community. Part of that mission is to support the next generation of agriculturalists as they begin a new chapter in their academic careers. This led to the annual awarding of our Franklin County Farm Bureau Scholarships to active members and their children.

Each year, we award multiple scholarships to students studying at accredited colleges and universities that altogether total nearly $15,000. While we encourage all students to apply, we do give preference to those students studying an agriculturally related field or those who are involved in other agriculturally related activities.

Please make sure to review this post thoroughly and that all deadlines are met. All other records, including our policy and procedures, are maintained by the Franklin County Farm Bureau and can be reviewed in person upon request.

Thank you for your interest in the Franklin County Farm Bureau Scholarships, and we eagerly await your submission.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
