Madison County Farm Bureau is offering thousands of dollars in scholarships to Madison County Farm Bureau members and their children in 2026. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing careers or training in agriculture. The scholarship is intended to support post-high school education, training, or career development, including enrollment in a two- or four-year college/university, technical school, or entry into the workforce in agriculture or skilled trades. 

QUALIFICATIONS – Applications will be accepted from students meeting the following qualifications:

1. Must be a Madison County resident.
2. Must meet one of the following post-high school pathways for Fall 2026:
   1. Enrolled in a four-year college/university
   2. Enrolled in a two-year college 
   3. Enrolled in a technical school program
   4. A high school graduate entering the workforce
      1. On a family or commercial farm or agricultural operation
      2. In a skilled trade, apprenticeship, or technical occupation
      3. In an agriculture-related business or profession
3. Applicant or their parents/guardian must be a Madison County Farm Bureau member.

CRITERIA TO BE CONSIDERED-

1. Academics
2. Community Activities
3. Grade Transcripts
4. Three letters of reference

SELECTION – Selection of the final applicants will be made by the scholarship committee and approved by the Madison County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS – Our office will notify all applicants of the winners. Winners will be required to give a photograph to Farm Bureau for our publications and social media.
