Farming into the Future: Pike County Farm Bureau hosts annual meeting/members only event

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Pike County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting/Members Only event, Farming into the Future! A great crowd of members gathered for dinner and an action-packed evening celebrating local agriculture. Guest speaker Dale Arnold, OFBF director of energy, provided crucial insights on upcoming data centers, alongside local power and gas line expansions. Attendees were also treated to an impressive live drone flying demonstration courtesy of Dennis Corcoran with Buckeye Aerial Application Drone Spraying—be sure to check out the video on our Facebook page to see the tech in action!

The evening highlighted key leaders and dedicated community members who keep our agriculture moving forward. Sen. Shane Wilkin was presented with the prestigious OFBF Friend of Agriculture Designation in recognition of his continued support. A special shout-out goes to the Piketon and Eastern FFA students, whose hard work serving dinner and running the kids’ games made the event a smooth success. Finally, congratulations to all of our Membership Award winners, as well as our newly elected board trustees and delegates who will represent Pike County at the upcoming OFBF Annual Meeting.
