Cassie is the daughter of David and Teresa Baird from Washington Court House. A 2019 graduate of Miami Trace High School, Cassie plans to study at Southern State University.
During her high school years she was on the varsity soccer team, a member of the Key Club, on Junior Fair board, The Ohio Angus Association, The American Angus Association, and The Fayette County Cattle Feeders. She was also invited and accepted to be the Rotary Club speaker, the Miami Trace FFA treasurer, and a CCP Student. Some of her community service includes the annual hospital gala, volunteering at a youth soccer camp, Adopt-A-Highway, and Operation Christmas Child.
Cassie also worked as a swim instructor/ child watch employee and a cashier at Patchwork Gardens.
Some awards that she received in high school were Greenhand, Chapter and State FFA Degrees as well as four years of the leadership award. She also received the Scholar Athlete award all four years.
All of these activities and accomplishments have taught Cassie valuable lessons, helped her to become a better leader and have shown her the amount of dedication one must have to succeed.
