Knox County Farm Bureau Policy Development Committee wants to hear from you. The committee members are interested in the membership’s ideas as to the major issues and needs of Knox County.

COVID-19 and social distancing has certainly been a large part of Ohioans’ lives over the past several weeks and will likely continue for some time into the future. Traditionally, beginning in April and continuing over the next couple of months, Knox County Farm Bureau Policy Development Committee hosts information gathering meetings to identify issues of importance for members. With an unknown end to social distancing in sight, the Policy Development Committee has developed a short survey to help surface local, state and national ideas for policy development consideration.

This survey is designed to assist the Policy Development Committee in identifying issues facing Farm Bureau members. Your input will allow them to proceed in the development of policies and programs that will help address the issues identified

To grow a network and gain perspective and knowledge in the industry through personal and professional development has been invaluable. Every day I learn and grow.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
