farm equipment on road

Additional virtual training sessions have been scheduled for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation workers’ compensation group rating program participants and members seeking to protect their operations, thanks to Nationwide.

Each year, Ohio Farm Bureau members who participate in group rating for their workers’ compensation coverage save millions of dollars in annual premium. This is possible because of work places that operate safely while protecting their employees. As a program sponsor, the Ohio Farm Bureau promotes and provides relevant safety training opportunities to help maintain employer eligibility for group rating discounts.

Join Matt Ludwig with Nationwide Risk Management, as he shares his years of experience and carefully crafted messaging in helping to ensure your family, farm and future are protected. Each session covers two topics.

This type of planning is a necessary step in helping to protect your income stream.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
